Big Screen and Cultural Trends in Film

A movie, also known as a movie trailer, a short film, video short or independent movie, is an artistic work of visual art designed to simulate various experiences that convey stories, ideas, emotions, beauty, or setting through the utilization of moving images. Movies are categorized according to genre, with the more popular and general films falling into the “Action” or “Thriller” genres. However, there exists a sub-genre of movies that fall under the “Comedy” category. These are considered the” comedies” or “serious” movies. Most of the movie posters contain movie titles in various parts of the movie.

Movie posters are a form of visual marketing meant to tell stories about movies. As such, the movie poster of today has evolved into a multi-faceted piece of artwork. Movie posters are designed to depict not only the movie title and storyline, but also the movie actor or actress, and sometimes a background of the location or scene of the movie. For example, a cowboy scene in a movie poster may not tell the story of the movie directly, but may illustrate how the cowboys came to be in the film, and how they help tell the story.

The genre of movies can be broadly categorized into Western (acted and dialogue) or Romantic (noacted and music). Both types of movies tell stories in different ways. Western movies tend to tell stories of the frontier and the wild west, including gunfighter, outlaw, rancher, train robber, and cowgirl. Romantic movies are about romantic relationships. For example, the Harry Potter series tells the story of the wizard and his student, while the Twilight series tells the story of a vampire and a werewolf.

Action movies are all about fighting against bad guys, whether they are government agents terrorists, or robots. Most action movies are designed to win the battle, and are not usually about romance, friendship, or other human emotions. However, there are action movies that are about a variety of things, such as family, friendship, crime, love, and so on. Most big screen action films end with the character either escaping or getting killed. These action movies are often called thrillers.

Special Effects: Most big screen movies have very sophisticated special effects, and this is partly why they are so expensive to make. Movie studios spend a lot of money making special effects that make stars sweat, jump, and fall down. They use special effects to achieve the effect of 3-D computer graphics, which are way more realistic than 2-D animation. The special effects require a lot of skill and effort. Most of the time, computer animation is cheaper and does not require as much skill.

Cultural Trends: Movies also tell cultural stories about America’s past and present. Some of these stories are so popular that they reach the hearts and minds of the American public, influencing their thinking about American society and their place in the world. For example, the last decade saw a number of movies about the Iraq war. More recently, movies about the iPod and its effects on the music industry were popular. These themes have reached every American child and have become a part of the pop culture landscape.
